Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to another year of the Kuskokwim Ice Classic!

We are just beginning to ramp up for the 2016 season but ticket sales are underway. In Bethel, purchase tickets from Delta Illusions Dance Company, BRHS Cheerleading, YK Delta Lifesavers Fund, BRHS/Gladys Jung Archery, Bethel Freestyle Wrestling Club and Teens Acting Against Violence (TAAV). In Aniak, tickets are available from the girls high school basketball team and in Napaskiak tickets will be sold by the 2016 senior class.

We’ll be telling you more about each of the beneficiary groups in the coming weeks and months. For now, keep your eye out for tickets on sale and start thinking about how you’ll guess this year!!!

At 1:35 PM the tripod reached the end of it’s line and tripped the official Kuskokwim Ice Classic clock. The winners of the $10,000 grand prize are Nora Horn and Bryan Kelila, who shared a single ticket and guessed 1:33 PM. Join us at the riverfront tonight to celebrate at the Break-Up Bash. Festivities begin at 5:00 PM. Free hot dogs and beverages! Live music! Yupik dancing!

As of 7:00 PM last night, 2015 Kuskokwim Ice Classic ticket sales and submissions are officially closed. Thank you to all of our dedicated sellers and to all who chose to participate this year. Now we wait!

Keep on eye on this site as we will continue to post updates on river conditions and details on the Break-Up Bash once it draws nearer.

This is your last chance to purchase 2015 Ice Classic tickets! All sales will close and all guesses must be submitted by 7:00 PM tonight, April 20th.

Sales will be available all day at AC, conducted by the Bethel Freestyle Wrestling Club. Tickets can also be purchased at the VFW, ID Variety and Swanson’s.

Drop boxes are located at AC, VFW, Ravn, Grant, BCSF, Q2 and BRHS.
