And the Winner is…

At 1:35 PM the tripod reached the end of it’s line and tripped the official Kuskokwim Ice Classic clock. The winners of the $10,000 grand prize are Nora Horn and Bryan Kelila, who shared a single ticket and guessed 1:33 PM. Join us at the riverfront tonight to celebrate at the Break-Up Bash. Festivities begin at 5:00 PM. Free hot dogs and beverages! Live music! Yupik dancing!

And the Tripod Came Down!

If a tree falls in the forest, does it make any noise? If the Tripod falls down and no one is around does IT make any noise? Who knows, but after an exciting day on the Kuskokwim, the tripod is down, but hopes are still high for those that have tickets for the next day or so. Although the tripod moved and fell down, the clock did not trip. It has to move about 50 more yards for an official “Trip” of the clock. 2015 Ice Classic Ticket Sales Have Closed

As of 7:00 PM last night, 2015 Kuskokwim Ice Classic ticket sales and submissions are officially closed. Thank you to all of our dedicated sellers and to all who chose to participate this year. Now we wait!
